GM Mid-level manager: “Mr. Head Honcho dude! Steve from budgeting passed out on the keyboard and ordered way too many bumpers with the Opel logo. What do we do?!?”
Mr. Head Honcho dude: “Oh uh just throw a ring around the Chevy Bowtie and let engineering deal with the new bumper design. Just send the new cars to Brazil. They won’t notice the difference.”

Seen them like that for years in the Colombian market. Opels with 0 changes. except that logo. When explained to Colombians that those vehicles are not sold in the US market they are shocked. “its an american brand!”

I was doing some curiosity research into it, and the car it came from (
Chevy Celta
) was given one star for safety. So yea it’s definitely an American brand! (also prob. why it isn’t sold here)
